After a nice, long fall, it almost seems impossible that harvest and the firearms deer season are behind us and the holidays are sneaking - very quickly - up on us!

Although it was embarrassingly slow in Bill's deer camp this year, we've heard others did better. I can't reveal any information here, but you can get the excuses --- I mean details --- from Bill when you see him at the outdoors shows early next year.

 

Based on how fast this year has gone, the shows will be here before we know it! Take a look around the website and get your questions ready so we can help you out when you visit our booths. We'll be looking for you at the St. Cloud Sportsmen's Show at the St. Cloud Civic Center on February 10-12 and at the MN Deer Classic and Outdoor Expo in the Coliseum Building on the Minnesota State Fairgrounds on March 9-12. Always fun to catch up and compare hunting stories.

Wheels are turning in this part of Minnesota. Weather has been generally quite cooperative after a chancey spring and a summer for the record books. Here's hoping it holds until everything is in the bin and the equipment is all put away!

Just practicing the now-popular "Enough Rain Already" dance in this part of the state!

 

We haven't experienced the weather that's left a path of destruction in some parts of the state and country, and we're very thankful. And we wish everyone effected by the damaging storms the best as they clean up.

 

But we are ready for some drying conditions so we can finish planting around here!

 

We've heard of some brave souls who tried to get back into the field a little ahead of the ideal conditions and ended up stuck in way too much mud. So here's hoping you haven't been in that situation.
